Dr. Sankar wins Oliver Max Gardner Award for 2010
Dr. Jagannathan Sankar, Director of the ERC for Revolutionizing Metallic Biomaterials, has been bestowed with the 2010 Oliver Max Gardner Award,
the highest faculty honor in the North Carolina University System. This award is given to a faculty member who 'has made the greatest contribution to the welfare of the human race'. This is an annually given award since 1949. The award was presented to Dr. Sankar at the Board of Governors meeting on Friday, April 9, 2010.
